Our History
How We Started
James E. Totherow, Sr. opened the firm May 1, 1963 by acquiring from his then employer a branch office of Ernst and Ernst, one of the largest national accounting firms. Totherow provided services to a variety of clients fin the McMinnville and the surrounding area including professional services organizations, banks, and rural telephone co-operatives, agriculture industry, medical service providers, hardwood manufacturing, as well as individuals. James D. Haile joined the firm November 1, 1965 as a partner, and on January 1, 1975 former employee James A Welch returned to the firm as partner.
Providing services to clients in a diverse range of industries, each with their own particular situations and needs is a challenge indeed.
